The obSESSION RPG Toolkit.

obSESSION is an RPG meta-system, or toolkit, from Obsessive Compulsive Design, ie me.
The purpose of obSESSION is provide a framework for running any game, in any style or genre, with any level of optional detail, without losing compatability. The project has taken me approximately twenty years but is almost ready for release.
The maps found on this page are related to various obSESSION games and genre projects underway as part of the design and testing process.

The Known World.

The Known World is a semi-civilised region of the world of Cathona, used as the basic setting for the Simple Fantasy rules. This JPEG map was created to go into the rulebook and shows the area around the default base of Redhelm's Peak.

The Tunnels of Testing are a super-dungeon found beneath Redhelm's Peak. This map is a sneak preview of the dungeon, being a look at the first sectionof "The Upeer Levels". This is the first and largest of the Tunnels' 15 levels.
NB. This is a large map and thus not a small file either.

Kurosanuma: Kingdom of the Iron Chrysanthemum.

The Kurosanuman Empire is a fantasy setting inspired by fuedal Japan. The following PDF is a one page extract from the briefing document for the setting. The map was created using the Black & White style from the 2008 Annual and took just over an hour to create.
