Who are FOG Online?
The Front for Organised Gaming started as an idea in the grimy little minds of Gavin L G Steele and Linda M Evans so far back in the mists of time that even the Elves have no clear records of it. The name was first put to the public as combined online shop and resource directory that never really succeeded in either role but paved the way for further development of the idea since we kept the url and have steadfastly refused to let go of it ever since.
Now, FOG represents an online community that, while largely superceded by the likes of Facebook, we still refuse to let go of and allow to die in peace. This latest iteration of the FOG Online website is a combination of resource directory, soapbox and noticeboard for gamers of all stripes (though as yet nobody outside a select few from Thanet really know of it's existence).
The site consists of a handful of pages, to which we hope to keep adding as time goes on, including a phpBB web forum that has been largely untouched in some time but which we maintain in case anyone wants it. Once upon a time it was a glorious kingdom, attracting knights from all realms to gather around it's table and debate the weighty issues of gaming. Since the fall of the Summer Court it has tumbled and lies in near ruins, awaiting the return of the Holy Grail to reawaken it's spirit... hang on. I think I got a bit carried away there.
Anyhow, while the name and webspace belong to us the site, such as it is, is intended for the gaming community at large and all comers should feel free to use it as they will and to suggest or request features and facilities which they would like to see here. This particularly applies if they are up to the task of writing the html and sending it to me for inclusion. :^)
